The Castillo de Santa Ana or The Roquetas has become, since it was inaugurated in May 2003, in a large service center in the town of Roquetas de Mar. This is a fortification of the seventeenth century, which for years served as a refuge for the few people available to the town at the time and who resided mostly in the area of the Harbour.

An incident destroyed most of the building, leaving only one of the towers that have been preserved and incorporated into the draft recovery of this historic facility. The construction of the new building has been carried out through various projects Training Workshops, which have formed a good number of young roqueteros in different professions.

Once completed, the castle has many exhibition halls in which tend to show paintings, photographs and other possibilities.
